David Czerniecki, CFA

David is responsible for setting investment strategy and overseeing Nassau’s investment portfolio.

David joined Nassau in 2019. With more than 30 years of experience managing insurance company investments, he is charged with growing and expanding Nassau’s asset management capabilities.

He previously spent almost 20 years at XL Group Ltd (AXA XL), where he most recently served as Senior Portfolio Manager and Co-Chairman of XL’s Global Credit Committee. In this role, he oversaw more than 60% of the company’s fixed income portfolio. Throughout his career he has served in a variety of business leadership, credit, capital markets and new product roles across within leading insurance, asset management, banking and investment banking firms.

David earned a B.S. in Business Administration from Georgetown University and an M.B.A. in Finance, Management and Marketing from the J.L. Kellogg School at Northwestern University. In addition, he is a CFA^® charterholder.
